VIDEO: Centene's Provider Accessibility Initiative Recognized by FORTUNE

Centene is honored to be ranked number seven on FORTUNE's 2019 Change the World List in recognition of our Provider Accessibility Initiative (PAI). Centene launched the PAI in 2017 to assist those living with disabilities and their companions in accessing quality healthcare. Designed in collaboration with the National Council on Independent Living, the program is the first of its kind. The initiative focuses on transitioning healthcare delivery into a fully accessible system by removing barriers to care and service in healthcare offices.

What truly makes this initiative so impactful is its ability to increase access to care, not only for Centene's membership, but for the community as a whole. The PAI has improved the lives of more than 123,000 Centene members and thousands more who visit the offices we've worked to improve.
